Zenit Pumps and Tsurumi Pump Unify Sales Operations to Strengthen Market Position in China

In a strategic move to strengthen their foothold in one of the world’s most dynamic and competitive markets, Zenit Pumps (China) Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Tsurumi Pump Co., Ltd. have officially integrated their sales departments. Effective July 1, 2026, this commercial optimization creates a unified, highly efficient framework designed to accelerate growth and deliver enhanced value to customers across mainland China.

A New Commercial Framework for Mainland China

Under the newly formalized agreement, Zenit Pumps (China) will take the helm in managing the sales and distribution of all Tsurumi-branded products specifically tailored for the mainland Chinese market. This localization initiative merges the commercial expertise and extensive sales networks of both groups, creating a powerhouse distribution channel capable of addressing regional market dynamics with unprecedented agility.

Strategic Optimization in a Competitive Landscape

The decision to combine resources is a direct response to the rapidly evolving and highly competitive market conditions in China. By pooling their human resources, market intelligence, and commercial capabilities, both companies aim to maximize operational efficiency and optimize resource allocation. This unified front significantly strengthens their collective competitive advantage, allowing them to better serve local clients, drive market development, and capture new opportunities.

Manufacturing and Global Operations Remain Unchanged

While the sales and distribution channels are merging, the core operational functions of both companies remain distinct. Shanghai Tsurumi Pump’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities, production infrastructure, and operational frameworks will continue to run independently, ensuring that the high-quality production standards customers expect remain untouched.

Furthermore, this integration is strictly a regional initiative. All existing sales structures, distribution networks, and commercial agreements for both Zenit and Tsurumi in Europe and other international markets remain completely unchanged, preserving their established global footprints.

Leadership Committed to Mutual Success

The integration was formalized by top leadership from both organizations, including Mr. Osamu Tsujimoto, Chairman of Tsurumi Pump, and Mr. Ryoichi Hikita, Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of the Zenit Group. They were joined by Zenit Pumps China’s senior management team, including General Manager Mr. Jay Chen, Deputy General Manager and Financial Manager Mr. Stillion Wang, and Regional Sales Manager Mr. Richard Zhang.

Together, the leadership teams emphasized that this shared vision leverages the unique strengths, exclusive portfolios, and stellar reputations of both brands. Their ultimate goal is to achieve sustainable, mutual success while continuing to deliver top-tier pumping solutions to their clients.

Looking Ahead

As the Chinese market continues to demand high-performance, reliable fluid handling and wastewater management solutions, the unified sales force of Zenit and Tsurumi is perfectly positioned to meet the challenge. This strategic alignment not only streamlines their commercial operations but also sets a robust foundation for long-term growth and market leadership in the region.
